WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO START?

Lots of people begin to consider starting a skincare routine when a problem arise, but reality is no matter your age, gender, or ethnicity, your skin needs everyday care, and at least a four-step regimen, including a gentle cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and everyday protection from UV light.

Whether you want to help prevent wrinkles, smooth away dryness, or address other concerns such as acne and pigmentation, you should start a skincare routine as soon as possible around your teens, or early 20's.

FIND OUT YOUR SKIN TYPE

  • Normal Skin: Well-balanced skin, where natural oils and moisture levels are just right. Normal skin is recognizable due to having small pores, soft and smooth skin, with hardly any acne or blemishes.
  • Dry Skin: Lacks of its naturals oils, feels tight, has a rough appearance, it is also more susceptible to flaking, peeling and fine lines.
  • Oily Skin: There is an excess of sebum production. It is naturally bright and shiny skin. Pores are largers, and unfortunately prone to different degrees of acne, or comedones.
  • Combination Skin: This is the most common skin type, where cheeks are normal or dry and the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) appear oily.

EVERYDAY ROUTINE:
  • STEP 1: Wash your face using a gentle cleanser, look for a cleanser specific for your skin type.
  • STEP 2: Toners should also be chosen according to your skin type, these addresses particular skin concerns.
  • STEP 3: Even if your skin feels supple and nice, apply mositurizer everyday, these help to prevent moiture loss. Choose the right one for you.
  • STEP 4: Sunscreen need to be applied everyday, no matter if is winter or cloudy, the UV light can still affect your skin, protect it using at least an spf 30.
You can repeat all the steps at night, but apply a night cream and do not apply sunscreen.
