Micro-Needling vs Derma-Rolling

MICRONEEDLING

Is a multi-purpose procedure where tiny needles puncture the skin in a 90-degree angle with the purpose of stimulating collagen production. This treatment needs to be done by a certified professional, numbing cream will be applied to avoid discomfort and needles can go as deep as 3mm depending on the zone of the body to be treated.

Microneedling is performed with a FDA-approved electronic device and a micro needle that moves across the skin, making pinpoint punctures to create very minor micro-injuries, which in return triggers the skin’s natural ability to repair itself.

DERMAROLLING

Dermarrolling
Dermarolling is done with a hand tool that inserts needles into the skin at a 45-degree angle, and with this creates tearing wounds as the drum is dragged across the skin.

Dermarolling is safe and effective to be performed by yourself, although more treatment might be needed to achieve your desired results, as this is a home version of microneedling.

When choosing your dermarolling device we recommend anything between 0.2mm and 0.75mm to avoid any damage, combine this with a proper skin care routine and the right products for the best results.

RESULTS

With both treatments, by persistently triggering this healing process, the body will keep repairing the skin incrementally and cumulatively, for this reason multiple sessions are often needed to achieve desired results.
Both treatments are used to rejuvenate, reduce fine lines, expression lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, stretch marks, scars and acne scars.
