Dos dermarolling really tears the skin?

Microneedling's DIY option goes by a different name: derma rolling. This handheld tool features rows of tiny needles and is way cheaper and more convenient than visiting your skincare specialist sometimes.

Do they provide the same benefits as traditional microneedling?
The short answer is Yes!

We recommend leaving to your professional any treatment that requires going deep into the skin, but there are ways to prepare your skin or increase your healing response by dermarolling safely at home with a .25mm dermaroller.

Derma rollers have a number of uses, and the main ones are for improving pigmentation issues and improving the surface of the skin by reducing fine lines, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation, which are all diminished with regular dermarolling and the right solutions such as AnteAge Home Microneedling solution 😉

When to avoid derma rolling

-Consult a professional if you have eczema, psoriasis, or a history of blood clots. You may need to avoid it completely.
-If you have active skin conditions that could easily spread to other parts of the face, such as active acne or warts, consult with a healthcare provider before dermarolling.
- If you’re using retinol, taking Accutane, or have sunburn, you should also be wary.
- Stop using retinol 5 days before derma rolling to avoid an adverse reaction.
